アメリカにて その３ Washington D.C. 1

今日は、好天に恵まれた中、ワシントン市内の見学に出掛けました。

Wｈｙ not go sightseeing Washington D.C. joyfully in the grace of good weather today?

地下鉄に乗って　スミソニアンプラザから　名所を訪ねます。

From the subway station of Smiｔｈsonian Plaza,  to the Sacred  area of this Great country!

先ずは、ワシントンモニュメントを目指しました。

Among other sights, Washingon Monument is the very first !

 

ここから、キャピトルヒルとリーンカーンメモリアルが望めました。

Both　the Capital Hiill and the Lincoln Mermorial  is in a  marvelous sight.

 

 

夏休みシーズンとあって、子供連れや学生が多く来ていました。

In summer vacation season,  I  share this beatiful scenary with many family visitors and students fortunately.

ここから、子供の頃から尊敬しました　リーンカーンメモリアルを目指しました。

The moment  of my  great pleasure to visit the respectful  Mr. Lincoln's  Memorial is starting from here.

 

第二次大戦の戦士を記念した噴水と鴨達の休む池を過ぎると、正面の階段では　学生達がコーラスを披露していました。

Passing the memorial fountain of the World War Ⅱ　and the fond where   the American  Black Ducks are resting ,

 

On the front  steps  students  are singing  in　 good chorus for his honor !

 

彼が休んでいたのは、荘厳な白亜の神殿様式の建物でした。

Nothing cannot be more magnificent  than   his   cretaceous  templum ,

the sacred safehaven of the spirits of democracy on  earth !
